PTA has been used mainly as a raw material of polyester fiber but lately it
has been exploited for various uses such as non-fiber field like PET-bottle,
PET-film and engineering plastics.
Taekwang had started up the PTA operation in May 1995 with 440,000 tons of
production capacity per year. However, the annual capacity has reached up
to 1,000,000 tons starting 2008 after the major expansion on our previous facilities in the end of 2007.
As a leading supplier in Petrochemical Business, we will be contributing
the best quality of PTA to both domestic and overseas customers on a permanent basis.
