Purified Terephthalic Acid : Petrochemical #1 Plant Taekwang Industrial completed its PTA production facilities in May 1994, and now providing the best quality of PTA for both domestic and overseas customers on a regular basis. We were also the first in the world to succeed in the commercial operation of the Rotary Pressure Filter (RPF).
April in 1997, Taekwang Industrial commercialized propylene product by employing a new propane dehydrogenation (PDH) technology that selectively dehydrogenates propane. This product is also used as a key raw material of acrylonitrile. Hydrogen peroxide is produced by combining oxygen with the hydrogen detached from propane. Taekwang has been providing the best quality of Hydrogen peroxide for both domestic and overseas customers on a regular basis since its launch of May 2012.
Taekwang Industrial began to produce AN from April 1997. The plant has 5 different production processes respectively for the productions of acrylonitrile(AN), sodium cyanide(NaCN), sulfuric acid(H2SO4), ammonium sulfate(NH4)2SO4, acetonitrile(CH3CN), which are all being sold for domestic and overseas customers.
